About the Recipe
This is a recipe I found among my mother in laws recipes that she had cut out of the General Food Corporation Magazine of 1982. I've had some good chocolate chip cookies in my time, but these are by far the family favorite. In this recipe you'll find it uses a box of Jell-O Pudding. The original recipe called for Vanilla Flavor, but I find that Cheese Cake flavor gives the cookie a better mouth watering taste.
Also, the original recipe states to place teaspoonfuls of cookie dough onto the baking sheets. My family and I enjoy the tablespoonfuls as it makes softer, doughy mouth watering cookies. If you're looking for that type of cookie, look no further, this is the recipe for you! .
2 & 1/4 cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
3/4c firmly packed Light Brown Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Package Jell-O Cheese Cake Instant Pudding Pie Filling
1c Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Mix flour with baking soda in separate mixing bowl.
In large mixing bowl combine butter, the sugars, vanilla & pudding mix. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Gradually add flour/baking soda mixture, then stir into chocolate chips. Batter will be stiff.
